All of my transformers are designed & manufactured in the UK using the highest quality materials. The overall  temperature rating of the insulation system is class A
(105 deg. C)

In general my power transformers are manufactured to the general requirements of UL506 & EN 61558-1:1997 & use UL recognised materials

Unless otherwise specified the maximum allowable ambient temperature is 40 deg. C & the maximum allowable RH is 95%.

Product range is from 10VA to 1kVA

All transformers (including standard range types) are made to order in the UK.

Generally transformers will be despatched within 2-3 weeks from order.

For UK customers payment can be made by cheque, UK postal order, PayPal or Bank Transfer

For non UK customers payment can be made by PayPal or by Bank Transfer

Hello, I am Terry Monaghan, the proprietor of Canterbury Windings and I would like to thank you for visiting my website.

I have been involved in the design & production of toroidal transformers for over 30 years: the bulk of the toroidal transformers manufactured by ILP Electronics Ltd up to 1990 & the majority of the toroidal transformers manufactured by Antrim Transformers Ltd were designed by me.

I set up Canterbury Windings  in 2006, initially to cater for the design & production of 1 offs & small production batches on a mail order basis
